about

Thank you for supporting CJSW 90.9FM, Calgary's community radio station during the 2023 funding drive. Your support helps keep our diverse programming on the dial all day, every day!

"Endless Adventure: Live Sessions From CJSW 2023" is a compilation featuring a selection of the live on-air sessions we've hosted in the CJSW band room, between August 2022 - Sept. 2023. This comp features local, Canadian and American musicians, both established and emerging. There's a great range of genres featured such as folk, rock, punk, metal, hardcore, post punk, experimental, country, jazz, r&b, hip-hop and more!

The tracks contained on this compilation were all recorded live in the CJSW studios, by sound tech's from the Music Department. Most of the sessions were also filmed and edited. You can check them out on our YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/cjswradio !

This year, the digital compilation is accompanied by a limited edition risograph-printed zine (printed by Yolkless Press), featuring content from station members and musicians who're featured on the compilation. You can get your copy of the zine plus a download code for the compilation at www.cjsw.com/donate !

CJSW 90.9 FM is Calgary, Canada’s campus and community radio station, broadcasting out of Moh'kins'tsis (Calgary, AB) at the University of Calgary campus located on Treaty 7 Land. We acknowledge the traditional territories of the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprised of the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations). The City of Calgary is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III. We would also like to note that the University of Calgary is situated on land adjacent to where the Bow River meets the Elbow River, and that the traditional Blackfoot name of this place is “Moh’kins’tsis”, which we now call the City of Calgary.
